Hi all, I recently upgraded to lion, and now when checking packages I get: * checking PDF version of manual. WARNING LaTeX errors when creating PDF version. This typically indicates Rd problems.
I noticed that there's an obvious hard-coding of /usr/local/bin when running the command. I had to symlink it from /usr/bin to /usr/local/bin to. I'm also seeing several other R-SIG-Mac items from prior months showing up today. I have a couple from prior _weeks_, but I think Spencer's is the only one from January. But I think you should logout and login and possibly even restart computer. After migrating stuff (including MacTeX 2010) to my Air with Lion I only had to run the FixMacTeX2011 package to get the PATH settings and the TeX distribution pane back. R CMD check works fine. Assuming you are doing the checking in a Terminal window, I would suggest starting R on the commandline and seeing what Sys.getenv('PATH') returns. Maybe something with.Renviron or a saved workspace?
